Parenting A Child With Autism With Auditing & Consulting Help

Dear Mace-Kingsley,

We have noticed many major improvements since G. has been receiving auditing. The best being that it is much easier for her to communicate – it seems to require less effort. She uses larger sentences and doesn’t seem to have to “search” for words like she used to. Her comm lag has improved dramatically. If you ask her a question, she will respond almost immediately. Before, you had to ask her 3-10 times and give her two possible answers with a lot of encouragement to get an answer. Now, if you ask her a question (a simple one), she can answer quickly for herself. If you do give her a choice, she usually comes up with another answer of her own! Example: “G., do you want to wear the shirt with the cat or the shirt with the butterfly?” “Alligator shirt!!!”

Her control and awareness of her environment has come way up and her “circuit-y” activities (typical autistic repetitive behavior) has decreased dramatically. If she does do any of the activities she used to not be able to control, she can stop whenever she decides to – she doesn’t get “trapped” in the activity. She has better control of her body and its location in space, her environment. She is less “clumsy” and more causative with her body.

I can also just see in her eyes that she is more aware, more in PT, more in comm with her environment and the people in it and that the “wall” so common to autistic kids is more like a sheer curtain now.

I also just have to say that Diane is THE most incredible auditor. She has persisted with G. despite the challenges (language being the biggest). Where any other auditor could have “taken a break” or said there wasn’t any more they could do because of the language issue (and would have been justified in doing so), Diane has gotten creative and found ways to communicate with G. so they could keep going. She has started hatting G. on various aspects of a session and auditing and what it means, and G. is really getting what auditing is all about. This means so much to me, it brings tears every time I think about her dedication to getting G. through to the other side despite any obstacles.

Last week, after a particularly amazing process that Diane hatted G. thoroughly on before doing it, G. was going around all day telling everyone “WIN! WIN!” with a huge smile on her face while jumping up and down. She loves going to session and she adores Diane.

Parenting a child with autism has many challenges. Rigo has helped us tremendously and given us some gems of wisdom in dealing with G. that have made a great difference in our home life. I’m amazed at how many “autistic” behaviors have relatively simple LRH handlings! Rigo also helped us see that despite what the medical community says, we are raising a thetan who has a little body with some issues, but nothing more than that. It has increased our understanding of her and removed a lot of the charge we had on certain things she would do – with his parent consulting, he put us at cause and for that we are truly grateful.

Thank you SO much for all you guys have done for us. We love you.

Love,

A. E. (Mom)

Since my son has been receiving auditing at Mace Kingsley, my life as a mother really changed. My son is much more calm and mature than before. The tailor-made hatting given to me by Sandy was essential and complemented the auditing. I now duplicate totally my son's universe, and this keys-out both of us.
Since my kids have been receiving auditing this trip I saw them light up! The first day they came back so talkative, so full of energy! I saw them happier and way more affectionate towards my husband and me, telling us how much they love us and giving us hugs and kisses!
Both my husband and I have been amazed at how much more in communication our daughter is with us now! After her Purification Rundown she was so much calmer and easier to be around and has much less drama.
I have noticed that his tone level is higher, he is happier, calmer, more considerate, and more willing and able to do the things he needs to do at home and at school. He seems to be more 'himself'.
Since the first day she loved her auditor and she came happily for session.  I have never seen her as happy as when she got out of session, very talkative and with a lot of energy and willing to be outside in contact with nature.  I realized the sessions brought her to present time and she is more at cause.
